Like countless literary luminaries before you, free your mind, sharpen your pencils, throw caution to the sea breeze and make Venice your own…
This September, join me for a five-day course in creative writing at the Oxford School, Venice. In a combination of workshops, optional one-to-one tutorials, and two evening social sessions, writing will be shared by the whole group, taking story-telling to a new level.
Students will be split into two small groups: one for novice writers, and one for more experienced writers who want to develop their skills by trying out new and playful approaches to crafting a narrative.
You’ll take part in daily 2-hour workshops, in either the morning or the afternoon, leaving plenty of time to explore the world’s most inspirational city. The course kicks off on the evening of Monday 10th September with aperitivi, then workshops will start on the Tuesday morning at the Oxford School on the third floor of the Fondazione Querini Stampalia, a historic building located between Saint Mark’s Square and the Rialto Bridge.
Please note that registration for the workshops closes on 15th May 2018.
